Mandate

The mandate of VGST includes the following:
  • Formulation of Policy and Programmes of Science and Technology.
  • Promotion and Development of Science and Technology in the state.
  • To catalyze, facilitate, promote by supporting Science and Technology promotional programs.
  • Strengthening institutions with Science and Technology facilities for imparting quality teaching and research.
  • Prepare Science and Technology infrastructure in terms of quality manpower and other resources to meet the future needs of the state in the state in the Science and Technology sector.
